You will be supporting our public sector clients, in particular on federal and state level, with establishing and developing their Enterprise Architecture Management capability. In your role as an IT architect you will be helping our clients to tackle special challenges at the interface between authorities and IT service providers, and identify the best way IT can support necessary actions set out within the implementation of laws, e.g. the German Online Access Act (Onlinezugangsgesetz).
- Analyzing and documenting the current state architecture
- Developing domain-specific models (e.g. service or business capability models)
- Developing blueprints and roadmaps for the future state architecture across different authorities
- Supporting the action planning of authority-specific processes, applications, and infrastructure
- Working on transformation projects with IT service providers and authorities
- Developing technical reference architectures
- Conducting architecture reviews
- Defining and developing the Enterprise Architecture Management capabilities
We expect you to meet the following skills, experiences, and academic requirements:
- Degree in business information systems, business economics/business administration or a related discipline
- Senior level experience of working in the field of Enterprise Architecture Management in the public sector as an employee or consultant
- Hands-on experience of working with established architecture frameworks and methodologies such as TOGAF®, ArchiMate® and V-Modell XT
- Detailed public sector process and domain knowledge
- Broad IT knowledge
- Strong project management skills
- Strong abstract and structured thinking skills and ability to look at the bigger picture
- Strong willingness to learn
- Driven by goals and results
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal as well as written communication skills in German
- Ability to interact with management at all levels
