You will be advising and supporting our clients as a Business Architect, and helping to establish, develop, and maintain our clients‘ enterprise architecture management capability (focusing on business architecture). As part of the role you will be:
- Documenting and analyzing the current state business architecture (e.g., value streams and business capabilities)
- Validating and operationalizing the business strategy
- Designing and analyzing business models
- Developing business capability maps
- Developing blueprints and roadmaps for the future state business architecture
- Supporting and advising on transformation projects
- Developing solution architectures at the business level (e.g., in terms of business processes)
- Developing architecture principles
- Developing and establishing Business Architecture Management capabilities
- Reviewing and developing Business Architecture Management capabilities
We expect you to meet the following skills, experiences, and academic requirements:
- Degree in business information systems, business economics/business administration, or a related discipline
- Senior level experience with solid background in business planning/strategy development, business process management/organization, or business architecture management
- Hands-on experience of working with fundamental business architecture frameworks and methodologies such as BIZBOK®, BMC, BPMN
- Business process knowledge and ideally industry knowledge
- Broad knowledge of IT basics
- Strong project management skills
- Strong abstract and structured thinking skills and ability to look at the bigger picture
- Strong willingness to learn
- Driven by goals and results
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal as well as written communication skills in English and German (proficiency in a third language is a plus)
- Ability to interact with management at all levels
